Last year Kelown'a Hopscotch Festival was taken to an entirely new level. The Grand Tasting was extended to two-nights in order to accommodate the immense demand for tickets. With more than FIVE-THOUSAND people attending the Grand Tasting Hall over two nights, the Hopscotch Festival was an event missed by few.
In 2014 the festival turns 19 years old (it started in Vancouver) and will mark the fifth year that it will take place in Kelowna. The growing pains are gone and the event has become something very special. For four hours per night, The Kelowna Curling Club is transformed into an educational tasting event where people come to sip, taste, learn, and shmooze about premium whiskies, beers, and other spirits that are both new and old to the local market. Come and visit! We will see you there.

Appearance: Clear, golden color. Pours with a fine, persistent head.
Aroma: Beyond the yeasty essence, a subtle acacia and alpine meadow fragrance. Stable and persistent aroma.
The first taste is supple, balanced, almost round, pronounced with smooth, pollinated notes. Exceptionally pleasant aperitif beer. Thirst-quenching, finishes with a mild bitterness.
Beer and Food Pairings: Should serve especially well with a variety of vegetable-based tapas and light vinaigrette.
