I'm delighted to see that the organizer for our Beer Meetup Group has been working hard to bring us beer enthusists together. He has scheduled a meetup for Thursday, Dec 19 at Commune Cafe 1002 Seymour Street, Vancouver and will be featuring Saison Dupont. Saison Dupont is the world standard for Saisons so after this meetup, you'll know what you should be tasting. He also has a few surprises for you as well.
Commune Cafe has recently renovated and designed a new menu so you'll find great food, great service and, of course, great beer.
Cheers!

We are very proud to announce that after the Gold medal at the World Beer Challenge 2013, Gulden Draak has been awarded with another Gold medal in the Brussels Beer Challenge 2013. This international beer tasting competition was held in Liège.
The Brussels Beer Challenge was launched in 2012 to promote the beer industry in a market that is not only a benchmark for beer but also home to connoisseurs. The event was backed by WBT – Wallonia-Brussels Tourism – and was this year part of the 2012-2013 Wallonia Taste the Difference promotion program. The Challenge finally brought to Belgium a prominent international competition. Although there are already acclaimed competitions elsewhere, it was only fitting that Belgium should offer brewers across the globe a representative, yet independent trade venue to compete against one another.
