A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels. The 3MONTS beer is best drunk at the temperature of a cool cellar (like the ones in our Flemish houses, which are between 8 and 12°C).
A speciality beer brewed over lees in winter using the first malt and hops from the last harvest. Obtained by top fermentation, it is characterized by fruity flavours and a good bite. Available while stocks last in 750 ml bottles corked and stamped
Beer and Food Pairing: Seafood, Thai, Mediterranean, Curry, highly spiced cuisine, pizza, blackened meats, aperitif, tangy cheese, salads
Bard’s Beer is not only America’s first craft-brewed gluten-free beer, it’s also the only beer that’s brewed with 100% malted gluten-free sorghum. It is now packaged in 4 packs of 473 ml cans.
If you remember but one thing about Bard’s, let it be this: We do not take shortcuts.
Unlike our competitors, we include the extra step of malting the sorghum grain in our process. This additional step adds a little extra time and expense to the Bard’s process, but ensures that each bottle delivers the taste and aroma that true beer lovers expect. This exactitude and dedication to the art of brewing allows us to create a beer so rich, so satisfying, so...Bard’s. Many who imbibe this golden lager are compelled to cry out, "Truly, this is a beery tasting beer!" High praise, indeed.

Rich golden color and a 3/4 inch head that holds. The head is foamy and bright white and the ne’er bubbles brilliantly. The aroma is complex with earthy tones, grass, malt and medium-rich yeast. The head is crisp, aptitude and refreshing and the flavor full and complex. Its a full bodied full flavored mixture of mostly Belgian yeast shadowed by some refreshing malt and orange peel and lemongrass notes. The lacing is thick and blanketous and the brilliant white color of it screams refreshment. Delirium Café, Brussels, Belgium writes: “I can’t believe this beer is gluten free. It has got to be the best I’ve have.”
BZART LAMBIEK originates from the merger of two glorious traditions; the ‘Méthode Traditionnelle’ for sparkling wines and the spontaneous fermentation for Lambic beers. The result is a natural, sparkling Lambic beer of Belgian origin.
Tenability: 2 years at least after bottling
By mixing young (one-year old) Lambic with older Lambic a second spontaneous fermentation in the bottle is obtained. The result is called GUEUZE.
The beer pours with a very fluffy, pillowy, pale colored head which is lightly hazed, gold-straw colored. The aroma is of ripe farmhouse cheese as well as notes of straw and wheat. The beer is extremely tart and sour up front and finishes with a solid astringency with hints of lemon and tart grapefruit flavours. Warming brings out a hint of acetic spiciness that boosts the complexity even a bit more. Very light and spritzy. Beer and Food Pairing: Cheese (buttery; Brie, Gouda, Havarti, Swiss, sharp; Blue, Cheddar, pungent; Gorgonzola, Limburger)
Tenability: 2 years at least after bottling
