For many decades, the brewers of the Senne valley have been brewing Lambic beer. In the 19th century they created several fruit beers. The cherry beer on base of Lambic was the first or one of the first fruit beers. Chapeau Kriek is made on base of Lambic, a artisanal traditional product which ripen in oak barrels.
