It’s easy. Just like Bravo Beer Co Facebook page, review one of our beer and post the review to FB!

1. Like Bravo Beer Co FaceBook Page

2. Review one of our beers listed under “Our Beer” on our website www.bravobeerco.com

Review must include:

• Your preferred contact address (phone, email, twitter, facebook, snail mail, other)

• Name of beer • Name of Brewery

• Alcohol Level

• Date of Review

• We suggest using RateBeer.com rating guide highlighted below:

Make sure the beer has as close as possible to the correct size head for the beer style. Ideally you should pour yourself a full serve so you can observe the proper head. Appearance: After pouring, look at the beer and write down as many things as you can about its visual appeal, including the colour, clarity, carbonation, head size and longevity and pattern of lacing on the glass.

Aroma: Now smell the beer. The very first smell is the one you need to pay most attention to, as your nasal sensors will quickly saturate. Move the glass away from you and breathe normal air and then try again. Look for and note down any attractive, unusual or bad aromas, hop character, malts, sweetness, fruitiness and other aromas. Swirling the glass can release some of the fainter more subtle aromas that are not evident the first time around.

Palate: The “feel” of the beer inside your mouth as you swallow it. How does the beer feel around the front of your mouth, the back of the mouth and as you swallow it? Is it velvety smooth or harsh, mouth filling like a stout or is it thin bodied like a watery lager? Sticky or cloying like over sweet soft drinks or does it strip your mouth out like vinegar? Is it balanced, or one-dimensional?

Flavour: This is how the beer tastes. How many different tastes and flavours can you identify? How does the initial flavour vary from the start, the middle, finish and aftertaste. Here you can describe the intensity of the bitterness, sweetness and sourness of the beer.

Overall: This can be a way of balancing up other features about the beer or anything else you like or dislike about it. This may include price, packaging or any other comments. How likely are you going to want to buy this beer again?

3. Post it on Bravo Beer Co FaceBook wall.

4. Repeat for next beer.

You are now automatically entered to win 2 tickets to the 2014 Grey Cup. Each beer reviewed will be entered to win so enter as many as you like – 1 per day. All entries must conform to this format or they will not be entered.

Draw date: November 15, 2014. Winners will be contacted by the preferred contact address listed in their beer review.

Go Wild for Straffe Hendrik
Rare Beer available in BC

Don't miss out as there are only 40 cases of this rare beer available in BC.
Straffe Hendrik Wild (sku 872333) has just arrived (June 13 2014) and needs to clear customs before it is available in the distribution channel.  Keep your eyes out for it because

Once it's gone....it's gone.

The original Straffe Hendrik Tripel has been re-fermented using wild Brettanomyces yeast. It is then cellared at Brouwerij de Halve Maan for 3 months before being released. The wild yeasts dramatically increase the already long shelf life of the beer and continue to develop its flavours for years.

Definitely a beer to cellar so you're able to enjoy the ever-evolving flavours for years to come.
