11.9% alc/vol 6*750ml

W: 19.97, R: 24.49

100 RateBeer.com

Scaldis Prestige matures 6 months in oak barrels. Reviving the traditional use of oak barrels has introduced aromas and tannins that haven’t been experienced in beer for many years. Scaldis Prestige is an exceptional beer thanks to its rounded taste, its rich aromas, the exclusive bottle and the limited distribution.

New Editions
Refresh Your Palate

We've got a couple new beers and a new edition of a favorite.

Straffe Hendrik Wild 2018 (SKU 872333) is back in stock with a limited quantity of 33 cases. This popular Belgian Tripel is brewed with wild Brettanomyces yeast strains to give it it's distinctive sour flavour. This beer's edition average 95 on RateBeer.com. 24*330 ml case

Brasserie Historique Cateau has created a winner with their Sour Ale (SKU 164098) , but only a limited supply is available. We managed to get 28 cases. The Sour Ale is brewed with strawberries to give it sweetness and fruitiness. The, rhubarb is added and brings a tangy and refreshing touch to the strawberry flavors. Add to that a hint of heaven seeds for a subtly peppery and salty twist. It is incredible. A Must Have on every beer drinkers list. 6*750ml

I scooped 20 more cases of the elusive Scaldis Prestige (SKU 420216) from Brasserie Dubuisson. This beer is given 99 on RateBeer. It has been aged in Oak which is what gives it's uncommon smoothness and richness.  6*750ml

The King and Queen of the Belgians Visit
March 2018
Sunday, March 11, 2018 to Sunday, March 18, 2018

I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the King and Queen of the Belgians. It was truly an honour. They were in Canada with a Trade Delegation from Belgium and Brouwerij de Halve Maan invited me to participate with them.

We partied with their Majesties at a Black Tie event, did business with them at our contract signing and chatted with the Queen at a chocolate festival. I was also honoured to meet the Secretary of Foreign Trade, Pieter de Crem, at our launch party in Ottawa for the first bottle de Halve Maan Quadruple to be opened in Ontario.

Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal in 3 days was a whirlwind but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Thank you Zavier and Steve for the invitation.
