Hopscotch Vancouver 2014
November 21-22, PNE Forum
Friday, November 21, 2014 to Saturday, November 22, 2014

THE PNE FORUM has proved to be an awesome venue for Hopscotch! It was a big change, but an exciting change and a contribution to the goal of always making the Hopscotch Festival better.

The festival turns 18 in 2014 and like any teenager, its growing pains are long gone and the excitement of it entering adulthood is upon us. What's crazy is that if the festival was a person, it would be legal to drive. So drive it shall. 2014 will bring an amazing festival to Vancouver via the famous Grand Tasting Hall, Satellite Dinners, and Master Classes. Hundreds of products including Whisky (Scotch, Bourbon, and all others), Beer, Tequila, Vodka, Gin, etc will be available to sip, taste, and learn about.

Friday, November 21, 2014 to Saturday, November 22, 2014
Satellite events start Nov 17, Grand Tasting Hall Nov 21&22

Spec 658005 Brunehaut Blonde Bio

Gold Medal Winner at 2013 US Open Beer Championship

Belgian Blonde Ale 6.5% abv $3.49/bottle, 24 bottles/case

Top fermentation and bottle conditioned ale. The beer is de-glutenize during the brewing process. It is a 100% natural operation which allow to keep all the flavours and taste our top fermented and bottle conditioned ales. A sample of every batch is sent for analysis to an official laboratory. It must achieve a gluten level under 20 ppm to be commercialized as "gluten free".

Appearance: Clear, golden color. Pours with a fine, persistent head.

Aroma: Beyond the yeasty essence, a subtle acacia and alpine meadow fragrance. Stable and persistent aroma.

The first taste is supple, balanced, almost round, pronounced with smooth, pollinated notes. Exceptionally pleasant aperitif beer. Thirst-quenching, finishes with a mild bitterness.

Beer and Food Pairings: Should serve especially well with a variety of vegetable-based tapas and light vinaigrette.
