Spec +584276 Scaldis Amber Belgian Strong Ale 12. %alc/vol 250 ml. $2.95/bottle 24 bottles/case It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Scaldis. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. Top fermented and filtered. Beer and Food Pairing: Stilton cheese, game such as Grouse and roasted game hen, barbecued duck, pepper steak, paella, stir-fry teriyaki, Thai food, Chinese food. Serve at 55 degrees
